You're correct, they all work but some of are blocked on YouTube. I Googled the songs and was able to hear them or read the lyrics. Lyle Lovette's is one.

Well it has been a fun thread and I thank all of you for your participation and input..
As has been said, music is the universal language. It was amazing to see what songs really affected
each of you on your journeys. I enjoyed listening to all the songs and adding them to my playlist.

I had planned to come up with a top 40 list but there were too many that I felt everyone would enjoy.

Great stuff. Lots of laughs.
Love the list. Reminds me now of the "party tape", a cassette recorded from various albums, that my buddies and I always had to have before we went anywhere - 30 years ago. Wish I could be there to hear it unveiled at GFMPH just because it was fun to see it develop.

Late entry to the list. I just discovered a song I had on the Beegees CD, "One Night Only". It is a Beegees written song, sung by Celine Dion.
It is called "IMMORTALITY".

This is an old thread I started 2 years ago but we had a lot of fun with it.

Since I started it, more songs have come out that can be added.

Jimmy Charles wrote and recorded a Prostate Cancer song called Superman
Alan Jackson did "When I saw you leaving" about his wif being DX with cancer.

Aerosmith did " The Other Side" and "Dream On".

Anyone have any other favorites?

The theme song from Knightriders, a dorky 1971 movie but the song was great. The sone is called "I Rather be a Wanderer".

Dan Fogelberg was a tragic story. Once he was DX with PCa, he went fast.
His widow donated the proceeds from one of his songs to a prostate cancer fund.
