Are you still on luporon and now bin put on casodex, so ADT2. How high was your T . I was put on casodex for one month before starting zoladex which is the same as Lupron to minimize T flair . My understanding is when starting luporon or Zoladex without having a antiandrogens first we are susceptible to a T increase before it goes down to castrate level. Don't quote me on that
regardless the question is, how long is the joint pain going to last. One of the SEs of casodex is joint pain in about
20% of recipients between the ages of 50 & 65. Again don't take this as fact ,just something I kind of remembered from one of the numerous drug sites I frequently visit. You also state your mobility is hampered do to your recent surgery on quadriceps .So you had to reduce your excision level. The old cliche, the more you move the more you lube holds true by the sound of it. When I started on this protocol the first thing I noticed was the joint pain, it kind of goes hand and hand with it, everyone is different, prexisisting arthritis is a factor, it takes me a good hour each day to get moving. I did notice when I was on casodex the real heavy pains sub subsided after about
three weeks. But the zoladex continues to cause a lot of joint pain ,I find a lot of walking helps plus the use of tylanol and naproxen for pain and imflammation. No Pain no gain. I've always abided that old cliche ,I know that's not what you want to hear
like I mentioned to canuck77 (if at first you don't succeed hit with a bigger hammer ) hoping you recover quickly from your recent surgery.
