Hey Gbooth,
I hope you're here for the charming chatter among friends, and not because you have PCa. If you do happen to know anyone diagnosed with PCa, I urge you to refer them to the links in my signature below.

Welcome aboard Mate, Sorry you have found us. But if you have PCa, this is an amazing brotherhood and sisterhood of amazing people that are so unselfish with their cancer knowledge and validation of emotions that one goes through with this blessed cancer.
Don't be shy, ask away any and all questions and you will be surprised at the response that you will receive.

Hello Gbooth and welcome. I was hoping you were here for the Friday Funnies but bro Rigby indicates it might be for another reason. Please let us know how we can help and support you.

Thank you all for the warm welcome, I will learn how to create a signature . I'm still learning what all the letters and numbers mean. Started Pomagranite after reading some of Dr. "Snuffy" Myers stuff. 400mg, wonder if one is good would two caps be better. I haven't had any GI side effects from this dose.

Welcome Gbooth. Hate that you are here but glad you found this forum. My Rad Onc. said pomegranate pills would help and suggested them. Another Rad Onc at Mayo called them snake oil when I asked him about
the pom pills. My Med Onc. then said one study showed that they helped 1/3 of the takers, 1/3 it didn't make any difference and the last 1/3 it hurt. So who knows. I took them for a while, then quit. Lots of good information and advice here. This forum is the best.

Welcome to HW PC, Gbooth
Sorry I missed your entrance when you first came aboard, somehow slipped by me.
Can't say I am into the POM thing or debate, but it certainly won't hurt you to take it.
You can use the search feature here, and you will find many a spirited debate on the subject.
Glad to see your PSA was driven down so much so soon.

Hi, Gbooth. I too missed your original entrance to our humble forum. Welcome, and as always sorry you need to be here but glad you found us. It looks like you have a Gleason 9 case, and if I'm reading correctly your treatment has been hormone therapy. Has there been anything else? Also, assuming your diagnosis was around February of this year, or perhaps earlier?
I added you to the roster on the Gleason 9 crew thread. You may find some helpful posts there.
