One thing I always bear in mind at HW is that we are all different, but if one wants proof of this, while I have had surgery and SRT and SE, how about this by contrast:
I was chatting to my father-in-law about his PCa the other day. His GP gave him ten years when he was diagnosed, but that was at least fifteen years ago: he can't even remember exactly when i was!!
He has had no treatment, and can't even remember what his PSA is now, other than that the docs don't think it's a problem.
He is nearly 80, he has had also had major heart problems - and heart surgery, he also has breathing difficulties and diabetes, so was never really a candidate to have much in the way of treatment. So what he does is enjoy everyday of his life. He's just back from a short vacation driving round the Netherlands and Germany with his wife. (My in-laws are a great couple and a great example: they're just coming up for their 55th wedding anniversary, have 6 children, 15 grand children and 12 great-grand children!)
So, sounds like a good reason to say have as great day as you can!
