To implant or not to implant, that is the question

I'm starting to think about doing the implant, why?

1) The ED thing is still strong and present

2) The tri-mix scares the heck out of me because after 25 perfect shots and erections I developed Peyronies that PT Barnum might hire me.

3) The Peyronies, I can't take it anymore so I've been told the implant can correct it.

4) I'm single so I can't see any new women really being interested in "Hook Boy".

It would be great to hear from anyone at all what they think about getting an implant?

We have a number of guys on the forum who have them. I can't remember ever meeting a guy who regretted it. But I think they would all agree that you are a trifle premature at this point. Peyronie's is treatable. There is a new treatment for serious Peyronie's that is said to be something of a game changer.

But, you're right, "hook boy" isn't going to do it for you. Perhaps if you thought of yourself as "Captain Hook" while you wait to get the danm thing fixed (one way or another) that might help.

What is this new treatment for Peyronie's? Any links, etc., about the treatment?

The reason a man has to have a serious bend to use it is that it is not without some risks. It also requires a specially trained doctor to administer it and there aren't many yet.

I forgot to mention that I am considering an implant myself. I'm gonna wait a while after my ADT to see if miracles happen then, probably, pull the trigger.

   This is what I'm thinking. I'm seeing Dr Mulhall the 9th. If he doesn't have a quick fix, being less then 6 months why fool around anymore. Get the dam implant and get the nightmare overwith. At least you can pump it up and down when your bored. The biggest thing is confidence just knowing it will be straight and always work is worth it all I should think. So tired of all this should have had the implant done at the same time as the RALP--ha ha

After just a few injections of Trimix I developed a significant case of Peyronies Disease. It was suggested that I try an implant. I also tried a series of Injections of verapamil which did nothing. I finally wound up with a new MD who suggested a VED device. In my case it worked miracles. It would be worth trying before doing an implant.
