Summer in Central America and just got a local 0.00!!

Hi all,
Just a quick update and a hello from Panama---where we decided to spend our summer.
Hubby finished his 34 adjuvant radiation sessions one month ago (psa 0.029 going into rt)....had a psa 2 weeks ago down here in local lab---0.05---bit of a kick in the rear, but I am hoping it was just due to lab differential....Total Testosterone reading at 0.2.
Just did another psa test yesterday which came back at 0.00!!
Still seems a bit odd to me that it went from 0.05 to 0.00 in 2 weeks though...??

Anyway, that's a nice way to start off the summer:)

Congratulations on the great numbers.

Likely the little variations are due to what the lab is able to measure.

and sorry I didn't reply sooner but I took the long holiday weekend off from everything.

If the lab reported last Friday's PSA as "0.00" that is a trifle odd, too. The lab my oncologist uses reports my PSA as "<0.015" which is read as "undetectable". I'd take the zero as good news and enjoy your summer. You can take stock when you get someplace with a somewhat less quirky lab.

Pretty place, Panama, as I recall. Of course I haven't been there since I was a kid and there have been some changes. They dug a canal, for one thing*.
