Tony -- Sorry for your difficulties, but happy to see you are in the Zero Club.
Just my opinion, but I would try Trimix injections before going the implant route.
Trimix will do nothing to cure the curve, but it should give you an erection, once you get the dose right.
I've never used a pump, but although they don't help so much with erectile tissue rehab (because the oxygen content of the blood they bring into the penis is too low) ... they can provide usable erections and they can increase your length (and girth as JStars reported). However (and this is a question for pump users) - if you have Peyronies can you still use a pump? I'm guessing it would depend on the degree of curvature.
Hoping you find a workable solution -- Tigerfan
Yes Tony, sorry to hear about
these troubles. I'm sure many of us worry about
having the same issues.
The 1st few weeks after surgery I was convinced I had already had significant shrinkage, for whatever reason, even if it was only because I was being pulled more up inside than normal. Then I got my pump, and boy was that disappointing, small and cold! It seemed to me I looked about
1/2 size inside that tube.
Then I had my 1st injection, and things improved greatly. It popped up to normal size, and from then on I get back at least to full size when i pump. I have kept doing both occasionally, and most of that time taking Cialis 5 mg daily, all mostly for rehab. I have not lost anything at all so far(At almost 5 months), and I'm pretty sure I am even a be a bit fatter erect or flaccid and for sure hang loose more than before surgery(larger when flaccid). So far, anyway! Though I am early in the game, so who knows. I don't inject near as much as I should for fear of the PD, but you show that we RP guys get it even without injections!
But I have read from the experts that pumping might keep things stretched, but that cold and bluish erection indicates poorly oxygenated blood, thus rehab is minimal. But I have noticed lately that it is not cold any more when rehab pumping, but looks pink and feels pretty warm! It won't get cool anymore unless I put the rings on and leave them for a little while.
So this has me wondering if I am actually getting fairly well oxygenated blood in the old boy when pumping, thus being good for rehab? Maybe. Wish I knew for sure. Any opinions on that?
Bottom line to all of that: you may want to start pumping ASAP. Even though you are quite a ways out, it probably won't hurt and who knows, might help while you are trying to get all the rest figured out.
