Cystoscopy wasn't fun but it was short lived. You gotta do what you gotta do! Shrinking that prostate will be helpful if you're having urinary problems . Your PCa stats look great!

The ultrasound is easy, I don't understand the 2 greenlight Turps, when I had mine done I had Holmium laser and needed a second minor redo 4 months later because of some scar tissue which was causing some urgency issues.

As Bob said the cystoscopy wasn't fun, does really hurt just minor discomfort, it is probably more embarrassing because it is done in a hospital theatre with all the theatre staff present but you are fully awake with all on view, half the staff are generally females. The uroflow test is simple they just simply measure the flow rate and volume when you void into a special funnel device on the toilet.

A Urodynamic test is more exciting because they insert a special catheter into your bladder through your penis and a device into your rear passage. They want you to empty your bladder and then they will fill your bladder through the catheter, this enables them to measure your bladder capacity when full and when you think it is empty. Also they can measure the pressure and flow in your bladder when you void by the device inserted in your rear. You are lying over the end of a special table with all exposed with tubes and wires. It doesn't really hurt just a bit uncomfortable and is a bit embarrassing.

I've had all 3 and now just try to accept the "exposure" to female health staff.

Us men folk haven't been used to these sort of things while our women folk have been subjected to similar examinations from a relatively young age.
