Actually Comfy quoted a rate of $85 which with no tax would save me more than $100 over the 5 days we plan to stay, with Wed check in and Monday check out, and my travel service claims to beat any published internet rate

Sounds good, and I am ready for September. I have been thinking that if we are that close to Niagara Falls one of us should volunteer to ride a barrel over the falls for a once in a lifetime adventure. I wish I could do it, but I have a history of cramping up when placed in barrels. So I will ride the rescue boat.

142: since you are in occasional contact with distillers, perhaps you could suggest an opportunity for a special release. Some barrels could be dropped by helicopter into a favorable place in the Niagra river -- probably one of the spots on the Canadian side where the catch basin is deep and the falls hit well clear the rocks -- and the contents of any barrels that survive could be bottled to provide a vicarious adventure for the drinker.

I'll be hitting the open road (hope the gas prices keep dropping-I filled up for $2.99 a gallon today) on Saturday morning, September 20th. I should arrive at the hotel on Ridge Rd. in the early afternoon of Wednesday the 24th and then pop in on you guys shortly thereafter.
