My husband was just diagnosed with PC. He was told his gleason score was an 8. He is only 52 years old. His PSA was 5.84. We were told that 4 out of 14 cores were positive with 3 and 4+4 and one 3+3. Both side of his prostate are affected. We are not sure what is the best treatment to go with. My husband is in very good shape and works out daily. His other major problem is that he was also diagnosed with MS in March of this year. He does not have any MS symptoms right now but I am concerned because he is on a drug that keeps is body from attacking his nerves(auto immune drug ). I am not sure how this will affect the PC. I am so afraid because he has a very strong family history of PC including his father, and uncles and a grandfather who died of metastatic PC. Anyone with some advice would be appreciated.
