Paul's 4 year PSA was 0.02.
We are happy and grateful to our friends here that have supported us through the last 4.5 years.

4 years ago I was terrified. Didn't know what the future would bring.

Excellent, excellent news! Congratulations. It's weird. I'll probably never meet you or Paul. We live in different hemispheres. You're starting Spring and we're winding down Summer. Yet, having had surgery on the same day as Paul, I always feel a bit of a connection. I'm very happy for you both.

An, so happy to hear this wonderful news! I remember that time 4 years ago and how we didn't know all that much about Prostate Cancer. You are a great person to have on this forum. May the zero count continue! Celebrate!

Ron was in the hospital this weekend for 12 hours. He was having chest pains and is now scheduled for a stress test this Thursday. He still walks and is not over-weight. His PSA was .04. Remember how important that 5 year cancer-free year-mark is. We hope to celebrate with you! May everyone in the "August Surgeries" thread be doing well!

I totally get what you are saying about fast forwarding the years. We certainly don't want them going too fast, but yes, if we had known three years ago where we would be today, there would have been more smiles and less tears.

I read out every single one of the posts here to Paul and we both felt so blessed. Thank you!!

Clock and Aimzee were August 2010 RP buddies and we are connected forever in that. Clocknut and Paul's surgery was the same day. I think that monster thread was one of the longest single thread ever here at Healing well.

Aimzee, sorry about Ron's heart. I hope they find out what's wrong and it is something easily fixable.

Lana's husband CJ and PSA3.7 and Paul all went to the same surgeon - Dr Stricker who is a very talented surgeon.

Congratulations PSA3.7 and Aimzee and Ron on the zeros!

Thank you for your kind words, An. We can't take anything for granted. I am still trying to get my son to be tested. I won't give up. I don't get here often, but when I read your post, I wanted to wish you and Paul continued happiness!
