Slow this ride down !

Is time flying by quicker these days are does it just seem that way ? I can't believe that it's been a week already since wife and I packed to leave for Rochester for GFMPH Friday morning ?

The days just seem to go by so fast sometimes I feel like I'm in the movie Groundhog Day, feels like I'm consistently waking up to go to work .
How do you sloooooow this ride down ?

It seems like only yesterday so many people were here. I've taken down the tents, lights, chairs, and, this morning, dragged the trash and recycling to the curb for pick up. Like so many things in life, it was too short.

Let's do it again!

The closer you get to the end, the faster it spins by!

All you folks in your 50's talking about how quickly life spins by. Wait til you are 66 like I am, as are Sonny and Barfink1, but our elder statesman at GFMPH is Bayou Jackal who is in his late 70's.

It's true one is only as young or old as he feels, witness Sonny.

I was surprised to be one of the older GFMPH attendees, and how young the group is relatively speaking. By my count there were only 4-5 attendees on Medicare due to age, with a few others due to diabiility, with a couple getting close like Wampuscat and Grandpa of 4.

The guys in mid 50's seem to be at the mean and median age, with Cmetalman and Mr Worry Wart no longer the youngens thanks to attendees Gunner34, Steelguy, Grinnel86, Adjust, etc.

Just keep waking up on the right side of the grass, ad hope you young guys keep working and funding my Medicare and Social Security and that fund is not bankrupt by time you retire.
