PSA < 0.01 thanks to combo of Provenge/SBRT

Just got the affirmation how efective the combination of Provenge and SBRT radiation 5 treatments @ 8 Gy has been, PSA < 0.01.

My thanks to my mentor Tall Allen and to the many of you who encouraged me to go beyond Monotherapy with Gleason 9.

Now that I am there, just need to maintain PSA lower than the assay can measure.

Minimal side effects on Urgency but wear Depends d.uring day as insurance.

PS - got the testosterone results today and between Lupron and Zytiga, not much there but thankfully no fatigue which I attribute to maxing out on vitamin D-3, K-2 and Calcium

Looks good, Jim,
You've hit some critical milestones in flying colors. I look forward to these numbers being maintained. If you get a chance have a look at that Schellhammer post here or at the Advocates Forum. Some more look ahead information in that slide deck. Some things I would never have considered. But in talking to him, I see a lot of things are available for your future should you need them.

Congrats Lupron Jim! My fingers are crossed for a long term remission for you and that you get your big T back.

As for me, my PSA stayed undetectable for one year after SBRT and Zytiga, but I am back in trouble now at 1.44 with a PSADT of 4 months. So off we go for another C-11 scan with Acetate in Phoenix, and if the source can be identified and zapped safely with SBRT, that is what we will do!

Dr. Myers put me on Metformin, so we are checking the effectiveness of that drug at the same time.

I will keep you advised.

I must have overlooked your post. Great news!!!!

You fought the beast with a whip in one hand and a chair in the other like a lion trainer. You put in a lot of miles also finding the best of the best. Sometimes we need to leave the comforts of our hometown to find doctors that can help us with this s*it.
