Great timing Mike-- today I decided to ask my GP to give me a reference with Dr Hull or Dr Elis at the Urology Center of Spartanburg.
The highly recommended urologist who used to practice in Asheville and moved his practice to SC, actually called me and talked to me about
my case. He told me that the group he worked with in Asheville was good but if I wished to "kick it up a notch" I should get an appointment at the Urology Center of Spartanburg.
He had no doubt that with my numbers I should get a biopsy as soon as I can schedule one.
He did explain to me that if they did not find (or missed finding) I would be on a schedule of PSA tests and more biopsies.
I believe this is what my GP is afraid of because he has another patient who has high numbers which keep going up and has had five biopsies so far with negative results and now has a serious case of prostatitis.
I have not heard from my GP yet so I can ask for a referral.
If it is not too much of a bother, would you mind if I asked you more questions about
your experience with Dr Hull off line. (email redacted)
Thanks again mike for introducing yourself and sharing your timely recommendation.
Note: Mark, I took your email out of the body of your message...too much harvesting of personal info by spammers. Please consider including it with your profile so it will show up on the left of the screen and then anyone on the forum can email you. Jim
