Hi BOOGEE,
I can't find the exact link, but I have read of people switching LHRH drugs to correct a poor response. So, going back to Lupron, or Trelstar, etc., might be a good option.
However, the PSA increase to .2 does not seem that radical, especially if scans don't show anything. Have you considered adding Avodart and Casodex to his Firmagon/Lupron shot as your next step?
I've been reading Dr. Snuffy Myers' book on hormone therapy again these days, and he writes repeatedly that the first thing he tries when PSA rises during hormone therapy is to increase Casodex dosage from 50mg, to 150mg, and/or switch the LHRH brands, while including Avodart to block DHT from fuelling the cancer cells.
