Tim, jacking up the car was huge mistake, was trying out a new floor jack I had bought. My mind thought I could handle the task, but my body said differently. And been paying for this ever since.
Didn't help, as dealer had over tightened one of my lug nuts with an impact socket, and I couldn't get the wheel off, so hurt myself for nothing. Now the dealer is offering to do for free, what I was trying to do, plus replace all my lug nuts free of charge to boot.
As far as the hyperbaric, always hard to prove if it did what its suppose to do, one of the factors the FDA was discussing about it. But the results I described above, I am thankful for, regardless of their cause or origin.
David,
Hyperbaric treatments have many beneficial effects, some well-studied, some anecdotal. I thought that perhaps that it had helped you be able to go from a virtual cripple to being able to jack up your car. Personally, I've given up on that sort of thing at the age of 66.
My father had 40 hyperbaric treatments in Tucson (North Star Neurology) after a crushing stroke, but it had little effect on his ability to walk.
The psoriasis disappearance may be an unlooked for, favorable benefit of your oxygen treatments. If you get some organic, hand-rolled cigars from 142, they may be just the ticket to stimulate a weight gain.
Best to you on your oncology appointment next week. It might be instructive to ask him for some suggestions for getting doctors to call you back. FWIW, my daughter, a GP, always calls back or has the nurse or medical assistant contact the patient within 48 hours for routine concerns.
