I'm in OZ and occasionally the Marijuana debate emerges. See realnewsaustralia.com/2014/01/14/trials-for-medicinal-cannabis-in-australia-on-the-horizon/ This article gives a history of marijuana plants and how hemp was taken off the market to promote nylon in the 1930s etc. If it has therapeutic qualities and cancer treatment is so expensive, then yes there will be push back from cancer pharmaceutical companies. The double blind studies medicalmarijuana.procon.org/view.resource.php?resourceid=000884 of the efficacy is debatable. Whats work for one may not work for another.

There is also a lot about it on Youtube even showing you how to make the OIL. WARNING: making it yourself could be very very risky!

Hi Ashley, what part of Canada are you from? We get our RSO here in Vancouver from Eden. We also make it but so far, not got a lot of actual "oil" out of the batches. My husband was on it (one gram as a suppository) for a couple of weeks before he had issues with a lytic bone met causing trouble with his abducens nerve and associated severe head pain. We didn't know what was causing the pain, so he went off everything just in case. He has just gone on it again (after almost a six-month gap) and is very pleasantly surprised by the fact he only gets up once or twice a night instead of five or six times. His oncologist says that there isn't much evidence of anti-neoplastic activity, if any, however, he wrote a script. We see a lot of anecdotal evidence with people going into long-term remission/cure, but not specifically for PCa. Also, I find many people will take some or the other prescription drug, or other natural product, and then the tumours vanish and they claim it is to do with the RSO or other form of MJ. But we don't really know that for sure. Humans have two cannabinoid receptors so for us, it seems like a natural to use it. We are doing so with 3.5 ounces of ginger a day. I agree Ashley, and we have heard several stories from people who believe it does have an anti-tumour effect, despite various studies providing no evidence that it does. Things are a little different on the west coast. An MD, naturopathic oncologist or oncologist can prescribe it. Our big question at the moment is whether the strain should be CBD or THC heavy. Our naturopathic oncologist says THC but I would imagine that was more for pain relief. Dr. Myers had a patient whose PSA would not go down until he started taking the ginger so we thought we'd try combining the two. The ginger is orally as I can't imagine using that in a suppository ;) PM me if this thread is removed by our lovely mods as they must do what they must do to keep things legal.

OK, Ashley, be careful of the high THC. Don had it last night and woke up this morning all but wearing a purple kaftan and ringing love bells while tripping over his pumpkin seed necklace. He has just gone to exchange it as we can't have this happening every morning...

Also considering a little chemo since both Myers and Strum seem to prefer this over Xofigo.
