Has anyone experienced an acute stabbing pain when they first initiate flow?
I've had this infrequently during my life but lately has increased.
Appreciate any comments or perspectives.

Yes, it usually is a UTI (urinary tract infection). If it doesn't get better, get in touch with your doctor. Antibiotics takes care of it quickly once DX.

Thanks for the responses.
Definitely not a UTI...tested last time it occurred and nothing came up.

Prostatitus can cause this problem which antibiotics will cure.
