A quick glance at the signature details below will show a fairly serious G9 diagnosis some time ago. This was on the heels of a quickly growing and serious melanoma, and heart surgery.
However, after HT, High dose brachytherapy, and external beam radiation, PSA had dropped to 0.13 but then after 9 months or so rose to 0.40. This gave us a few shivers, but the subsequent PSA was back down to 0.3 and hopefully continuing to fall. Next PSA in a couple of months.
More importantly though, is the fact that my husband appears to be going from strength to strength. He now seems to be healthier and fitter than ever before, he has lots of energy, and his urinary problems (bleeding, pain, urgency and frequency) are almost a thing of the past. I attribute a lot of this to good care (mine...lol), and Voltaren which helped tremendously with all the urinary problems. And how can I forget, some good red wines, single malt whiskey and an optimistic nature.
Take heart...
