Head coach, Chuck Pagano, is a cancer survivor. They're playing in playoffs right now vs. Broncos. (Don't tell me the score I'm on a delayed recording in the 1st)

Great story though I'd recommend reading about him.

Me too. Was happy Colts beat Broncos, will make it easier for my Patriots next week, to win the AFC title again. Last 3 times we played the Colts, utterly slaughtered them, even in their own stadium. And this game will be in Foxboro. NE is mighty hard to beat at home.

I expect super bowl will be Seahawks vs. Patriots, a classic East Coast - VS - West Coast Battle of two tough teams.

Pete Carrol is the the best coach in the NFL for motivating his players. He completely turned his players around from a very shaky start. I believe his most powerful observation, made known to his players and tho i will put it quotation marks, it is probably more of a paraphrase of such. " You guys are playing together, but you are not playing for each other." Sound familiar, war vets? Go Hawks!!! ps surf is up, ideal conditions the last 3 mornings north shore, another one this morning, tho increasing beyond my skill level{{ at this time,anyway}. But I will be out of the water before that swell arrives{14-20'} I t is glorious. as I always tell my wife, before i head out. " I know my limits "

I also quote frequently from Peter Carroll.  One of my most frequently used quotes is:

What I tell patients and physicians is that prostate cancer is really a spectrum of disease, and you have to look at it in that way. Not all patients have the same types of tumors, the same grade, extent of disease, so I think it's very important for patients and their families to recognize you want to get a lot of information about the type of prostate cancer you have before considering treatment.

That's not Pete Carroll, coach of the Seattle Seahawks surely??

Those are two different people, Dr. Peter Carroll, a urologist at UCSF, and Pete Carroll, coach of the Seahawks, who was once fired by the New England Patriots, something he may be able to revenge.
