Hi from UK
Had a trans pereneal biopsy on Monday. 32 samples taken under a general anaesthetic, thank goodness. Bit sore still but ok. I agree with lots of posts that the blood in the semen description. was a little understated. Was expecting Rose Zinfandel and got Texas Chain Saw....
Went to GP with PSA of 12.15..more frequent pee but not at night and ith good stream and no difficulty..now awaiting the result.
If my pee is ok do I need to take the Contiflo tablet each day? Wasnt certain what I was told.
Already feel reassured by the posts on here..thank you. At least I am at a great hospital..Guys in London. I hope the 'Guy' bit is accurate..

Welcome chelseaboy. We know you didn't want to be here, we're glad to meet you. Feel free to ask questions. Read through the "sticky" threads at the top for lots of general information and insight. I don't know about hospitals in Britain, but Guy's certainly has a long and distinguished reputation. When you get your results, post them for us.

Welcome. My guess is that if your urine flow is OK, then you would not need the Contiflo now. Good luck with your results.

Welcome to the forum.

As to your question about the Contiflo: one of the problems that it treats is urine retention. Men who have that will often think they whiz like champions but, unfortunately, that vigorous stream cuts off when they are only half empty, and they find themselves back in the WC an hour later repeating the performance. I'd keep taking it for now and talk to your urologist about it when you get your biopsy results.
