Since being blackballed in April 2010 for the indecency of a rising psa (hee hee)- well that and some unmentioned nude dancing involving Mardi Gras beads before GFMPH 2010, a cedar tree, a Bic lighter and Velveeta- I am finally returning to the club, so shove over youse guys.

I finished my SRT in June, and the doc says I have reached my nadir as far as dropping psa and effectiveness of the treatment goes. Got a solid less than .01, 8 months after. I got through the treatment with just minor issues with bowel and burning when urinating, and have had none since about a month after finishing.

I had my reservations about starting SRT, even with having to watch the psa slowly rise over a 4 year period (talk about testing anxiety every 3 months) but it appears that so far I escaped without any long term damage. What it will be in 2 or 3 years remains to be seen, but for now I am satisfied. So it's time to relax some and see what alse life has in store for me. It's a good start, as the last year included SRT, a major car wreck totaling both cars, and a heart attack.

Congrats James. I have been in that club twice, although they booted me out within a matter of months. Hope that you are in the club for a longtime.

Glad you are back in the zero club again.  I am about to start SRT in March.  I hope to get back into the zero club before the end of the year.  Your post give me great hope.

Now that is some of the best news I have heard in quite a while. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Can't wait to see you guys in Baton Rouge. The drinks are on me when you get there.
