David, there were scans done of your kidneys by the uro a year ago and lots of renal cysts were found in both kidneys. This happened when you saw the spine doctor who saw something on the MRI and sent you to your uro for further evaluation. So this latest finding shouldn't be a surprise.
Yes, I think it was exactly a year ago that he said,
"Got the all clear on the kidney scans. Yes, there are lots of common renal cysts in both kidneys, but said nothing that needs any kind of follow up now or in the future. No evidence of "solid" lumps. Said half of any one over age 50 will have renal cysts, shouldn't cause me any problems."
The special 3D CT scans done by the urologist last year hopefully should have been convincing enough to lay the issue to rest. Hopefully the same will be true of the jaw lump which the oncologist scanned last fall.
