It's been four years since being diagnosed with Gleason 10 PCa.
So far so good. I had radiation and was on Lupron and Casadox for 18 months. I've been off both just about two years now.
My last 4 PSA's were 0.177, 0.187, 0.194, and yesterday was 0.189. I meet with both my Medical and Radiation Oncogist on Friday.
A few visits ago my Med. Oncologist scared the crap out of me saying that I would need to go back on Lupron if my PSA reached 0.2. He apologized on my last visit stating that he meant to say 2.0 not 0.2. Yea, big difference...
I feel better going in to see them now.
Both say, that being that I still having a prostate would show some PSA.
Hopefully it will be a uneventful visit.
Cheers from the Pacific North West.
