Post LDR - Can a person feel the radiation affects the localized see implants?

After my recent LDR seed implant (90) I seem to have a new sensation that started about three or four days ago. It might just be healing but I can identify a new, strange sensation that is inside my pelvis/anus area that is the same general localized area of my seed implant. It's hard to describe but it literally make me feel like something is slowly percolating. The sensation isn't gas...... and it doesn't hurt. I can describe it as reoccurring fizzles or movement that is localized and it's not constant or active all the time.

Does anyone know what that is?

That's odd. Never heard a description like that, interesting. Maybe it's just the cells that were killed by the seeds getting reabsorbed by your body or other healing processes like that.

Just speculation. Might be something to mention to the RO next time.

I think I feel the same thing but I had HDR Brachytherapy. 

Of course, I've had internal hemorrhoidal pain since my biopsy last October and I've been taking a lot of stuff, both ways, to help that situation.  I can't tell if it's the 'roids or the radiated prostate.

I also saw a surgery member, Pratoman maybe, say he felt a similar feeling since his was taken out.

Your prostate was stuck a number of times and is swollen. It would unusual after four days not to feel anything. I doubt if it is the radiation you are feeling and much morel likely inflammation from the procedure.

This feeling comes and goes. I don't feel super swollen as I did Day 1 or 2 or 3.

The feeling is like when your leg or arm falls asleep from lack of blood and that tingling feeling begins as the blood rushing back in - like "pins and needles". That's the effect that I get and it's randomly timed. No one position is associated when I'm starting to experience, I could be sitting or lying or moving.

Dewayne, wasn't me, I don't recall exactly that feeling after surgery. However, I do recall it just feeling "different" down there for a while. I suspect we all, no matter what our treatment, might be prone to odd feelings down there, temporarily, after treatment.

Craig: Had all sorts of sensations in the same and nearby areas. All were resolved with walking including the bowl movement urges following ruination. "Walking". The cheap, miracle cure.

When you described the similarity of a limb falling asleep, I recognized that sensation. Oddly enough, I used to get it pretty regularly when I was at the gym. It made me wonder at first, but gradually became far less frequent. I still get it maybe once a month or so, and I'm nearly five years out. I never inquired as to the cause, but it appears to be harmless.

Just knowing some others have similar experience is reassuring. I will ask my RO nurse and then the RO on next months visit. Hopefully, I can find out a plausible reason or explanation to post here.
