My newest PSA reults from 3/28/15 are in and I'm down to 0.4!  No SE's, and all is going well.  Happy Days.  I know all to well, from being on this site, that I'm one of the lucky ones.  Keep up the fight my brothers!

Great news, down about 94% since DX, are you also on some T- reducing hormone drug???

Dan, No I'm not on any medication. I just had SBRT as a primary treatment in 2013. So far so good. Thanks for all the well wishes guys!

Do you have any SE's as the result of SBRT/CK? Any short term or long term? I am considering SBRT or LDR BT.

Andy, I have not had any SE's that were troublesome to me. There is a loss of ejacualte (I have a little, but maybe 15% of what I had before), but this was easy to get used to for me. No problems with erections at all. The placment of the markers is sort of like the biopsy where there is blood is the semen and urine for a bit, but that clears up. I was put on Flomax before and during the procedure, but I really had no issues with flow previous to being diagnosed. I was put on a low fiber diet to keep myself cleaned out during the procedure, so I had some diareahha for a week or so, but that went away. I had some urgency to urinate right after the procedure, but that went away within a week. I never had any incontinence issues at all. Sex is "different", but still great, and orgasms are actually a little more intense.

Mike, i tried to e-mail you could not. I have a appointment with Dr. Collins at GU on the 27th really concidering SBRT but concerned about the lack of stats that it does really work long term. My wife really is concerned about it also. When i think about 5 compaired to 45 treatments it sounds like a great option. My e-mail is [email protected] When you get a chance can we talk?
