Great post, Devastated, for those initially diagnosed with aggressive PCa.
I am a G9 diagnosed at the outset as Stage 4 with pelvic mets. That is the BAD news. The GOOD news is that I am still alive and kicking after 4 years, despite the stats that forecast only 25 percent with my condition have lived this long (and they do not live very well).
You can see my treatment below and, as an update, I am now beginning Taxotere for the first time and after 2 weeks of treatment can do my regular strenuous exercise program.
In my answer to my first doctor (who I fired) who refused aggressive treatment for me on the basis of his code "Do No Harm", I responded "Failure to Treat Aggressive Cancer Aggressively IS Doing Harm"!
Keep the Hope Fires burning,
Houseboy
You are definitely hanging in there, way to go! If you keep that up you will live long enough for them to find a cure! LOL! Or like your sig says: “This Disease is going to Kill me…. unless I Die first!”
