Ravineman, my hope for you is to have results similar to mine. After I finished SRT, the RO had me fully prepared to think my PSA would be up after treatment. I was told the same thing...it could take a couple of years to know if SRT was successful. Well, my first PSA post SRT was lower. My Uro was surprised with the results and asked if I had HT with SRT, which I had not. Second PSA three months after that was still favorable and Uro said I was in remission. Next PSA comes up in September. Certainly hopeful the trend continues but not sure what it will mean, if anything, if the number is up this time.
In any case, I have always had the option of getting my PSA results the day after the test, but I have always waited to let my Uro provide the news at the appointment several days later. And the stress and anxiety are really un-nerving those few days until the appointment. And yet I still can't make myself get the results from the lab the day after.
