I am doing the happy dance tonight and if I had a bottle of Cab I would
open it and have a celebratory glass or 2 with my beautiful wife. Note to self..... Buy more wine. May have to opt for a little time in our room. ..... Note to self lock the door. 110 months since diagnosis and the last 20 have been a big fat zero......

Todd –
Just recently while websurfing I came across the wonderful poem below, "Invictus" ("Unconquered"), published in 1888 by Victorian poet William Ernest Henley.
The spirit of this poem is the spirit of so many who have come to this forum, and who are even here right now, but it also reminds me so very much of what you have been through and how well you have handled it:
INVICTUS
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find me, unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

YES. Chills. I hope you realize what an incredible inspiration you are my friend. SO happy for you and Mandy, and yep I'll hoist a glass or few of Cab with/for you tonight Bro. Had to go back and fill in the blanks on a quote from Winston Churchill that IMHO epitomizes your strength and outlook on life:
"Sure I am this day we are masters of our fate, that the task which has been set before us is not above our strength that its pangs and toils are not beyond our endurance. As long as we have faith in our own cause and an unconquerable will to win, victory will not be denied us."
