There have been a few threads started around our GFMPH gathering in September 2015, but they have all fallen to the wayside.

I'm opening this one as a base on which to add any comments or questions for this fall's event. You'll notice the programmer's title. That was done so you can search more easily when this falls off the first page.

The location is the Finger Lakes area near Rochester, NY. The weekend is 24-27 September. The host is our own Worried Guy, who will add onto this soon.

Local hotels are available, and GFMPH is a 501 C(3).

We don't post exact details of the hotel / location on these open threads, but will get you all the details you need if you'll email.

I just booked my flights, so things are in motion for me.

And just so no one is concerned / scared away, being a Mod does not carry over to GFMPH. devil Nor is GFMPH officially associated with Healing Well. We just all met here.

Ya'll have fun at Jeff's, going to miss it again this year. Maybe next year for sure.

I am looking forward to Sonny's GFMPH in the Spring of 2016.

My and the Mrs. tickets are bought, waiting for the hotel info from WG. He apparently arranges a block of rooms.

142, we'll be arriving Thurs afternoon on USAIR via Charlotte. Maybe we'll be on the same flight?

If I did not know the "9" was for September, I would have thought you mods had spies that knew my FL vanity plate had to be GFMPH-9 since Sonny had already staked out GFMPH and intended to do GFMPH-1 GFMPH-2 for his other vehicles.

Maybe BigMac can start in the numerical middle for his Florida vanity plate. OH, NY, and IL also have issued GFMPH plates, and there maybe other states like TX or LA.

Karen and I plan to drive perhaps arrive Wed night Thursday morning and leave Monday.

Great to see this thread started. We're planning to drive in, and hope to stay at the same hotel we did last year. We should arrive early evening Thursday.

I saw the title of this thread and thought it had something to do with Gleason 9 - LOL.

I sent Worried Guy an email a few days ago & am waiting to hear back from him. Steve is very interested in going to this. I may not be able to swing it, so he may be flying solo that weekend. (He will have strict instructions to stay out of trouble. The bail money fund is a little low on cash right now!)

Thanks for starting this thread. I haven't been able to make contact with worried guy. Can someone send me the hotel name and address of the gathering. I misplaced mine from a few years ago.

I think WG is out of pocket at this time. Has had a lot of stuff on his plate.

Mamma Pat and Cajun Jeff have booked flights can't wait to see everyone. Always such fun and fantastic friendships formed.

I will be bringing my GFMPH plate with me for signatures.

Unfortunlly I'll be driving the Pope around in his Pope mobile that weekend ...going to be a crazy place in Philly that weekend .

Not going to make this one. My wife is taking her Mom to New England to check out the fall colors (on her Mom's bucket list). I looked into flying in Friday and out Sunday, but I wouldn't get in until midnight Friday, and have to fly out at 5:00am Sunday. I'll miss everybody, and I will miss the clams. Have fun!

Paul that was some of the same problems we were having. The flights that we could find on the days that we wanted ere crazy times. So we are Going in early and departing late.

I, too, struggled with finding flights in and out at sensible times and sensible prices. My flight in arrives Friday at 10:30 am -- not so bad -- but I will be returning the rental car at 4:30 am on Monday to fly on to Philly to see my daughter and my new granddaughter. I think the Pope will have left before I get there. I hope so. Philadelphia traffic is quite sufficient on normal days.

I am glad somebody started this conversation. As usual I will be asking for commitments about attending so I can print the appropriate number of commemorative T-shirts.

Any of you folks that plan to attend, start sending me an email so that I can put together a list to send out details as they happen. There are a number of details that we share only via email and not here on HW.

Sherry and I will be driving the "Beast" in and as of right now will arrive Wednesday. My parking spot is reserved. I have been parking in the same spot since September 2010, and haven't missed a GFMPH North or South since.

Then again as we get closer to GFMPH, I start to get antsy and may be there a week or two earlier. You guys know me, can't wait.

Can't wait to see my old friends and as always looking forward to making new ones.

As usual there will be plenty of food and drink.
Campfires every night. Great discussions. Fantastic foods of all kinds.
You will be smiling the whole weekend. Just ask anyone who has ever attended. You even get a T-shirt if you want.
And we have a big surprise planned for Saturday night! No, I'm not telling! It's a surprise!

All,

We are not an exclusive club. If you have, or had, a rotten prostate, or care for someone who does, you are invited! We will not be performing verification DREs. We 'll trust you!

I contacted the hotel and reserved a block of rooms at the low, tax exempt rate. All you have to do is call the place and mention "GFMPH" or "The Prostate group" and you will get it. 2 double beds or 1 King bed and breakfast. The hotel won't be checking prostates either.

I also made arrangements with the airport for the same tour we got last year. It is a really good behind-the-scene tour of the Rochester airport operation. Security, operations, FCR (fire crash, and rescue), drones, baggage sorting and inspection, runway control, etc. All of this is behind the security checkpoints so they need to do a quick background check on attendees. That means I must submit names beforehand.
Unfortunately it is for Thursday morning 9/24. The only day they do it. Sorry. Contact me if you are interested in the tour.

Sonny will asking about attendee dates and T-shirt sizes so you know we are official! Thank you Sonny!

The airport tour is great. If you fly in Thursday, and there are a bunch of folks waving at planes from a taxiway, that would be us.
BUT, remember we go through security just like passengers, so leave those penknives at Jeff's nono
