Dr. Faddoul did my first procedure there, a low dose brachy in 2003, which ultimately failed. But this may be related to the nature of my cancer, rather than technique.

I'm assuming your case is routine, otherwise advise a medical oncologist of which the closest probably is in the bay area.

If I had it to do over again, I would travel to Ventura for Duke Bahn as my uro.

Is it smokey there?

of course info below is in context of your biopsy results; hopefully no action will be
needed.

I live in the area and in process of starting to look for an oncologist
there since am post treatment and have moved lately to roseville, so all I know about sutter urology is
just going there with family member once for something unrelated to pca.

I suggest you might want to look at dr listings for the sutter downtown, the mercy downtown, the mercy
coyle ave. area and at ucsd downtown just to get the big picture

and there is of course ucsf which has a dedicated pca clinic.

but also suggest you hook up with the ustoo pca support group for general info and support
but you might be able to find out about doctors recommendations as well.

but you might want to work with a medical oncologist, or at least also see
radiation oncologist if you want to hear more about radiation also vs surgery
by urologist.

that is, some say a medical oncologist might be a neutral party/central dr
for one considering surgery vs radiation; that is, one can use them even if
not dealing with chemotherapy.

certainly there is a lot of reading and learning that can be done
but hopefully your biopsy will indicate no action needs to be taken.
