Can't remember if last weekend or weekend prior. I woke up this morning to my wife crying and knew why. The family met with Hospice earlier and we're just waiting now, just a matter of time now. I overheard the Hospice nurse say it's not the cancer that kills you, but the treatment.

Hi I lost my husband two weeks ago and we both felt hospice was wounderful. The relief Steve felt when the nurse talked to us was seen on his face. He knew not having to wait for return Dr calls or going to Er was going to give us comfort. Think of hospice as fast care or questions answered now and how much your wife is going to get the help she needs. Cancer sucks but take the blessing hospice offers it will help. So sorry Carol

Eagle- I am so sorry for all the troubles. I assume you are talking about
your father-in-law? Please let us know. Of course, prayers for your family from here.

Eagle, sorry for what you are going through, I hope hospice brings you and your family the comfort that it seems to bring to others.

Hi EagleKeeper,
Very sorry to hear that things are progressing so rapidly. It's must be hard to cope with so much happening right now. We're all brothers here and as your brother I wish that you all stay strong and that this brings you even closer than you already are. Take care.

Sorry. This weekend has been a very bad one. Yes, I was talking about
my father in law. I left the hospital at about
930 am and Darc called and said he passed at 1230. My father in law was a short and skinny bald man that had a heart twice the size of him. He would do anything for anyone and would only get upset with you if you mentioned it, he was very private. He didn't want anyone to know he was sick. Two days before he went to the hospital he was at our house pulling trees out of the ground and didn't complain a bit. He only had a sixth grade education, but he was extremely successful, both personally and professionally. I think a lot of schools nowadays teach knowledge and forget to teach wisdom. Darc is at the funeral home making arrangements. Thanks for the cares and prayers.

I'm sorry for your loss. My father-in-law is a man I admire greatly. He raised a pretty amazing daughter as well. I can't imagine the world without him in it.

EAGLEKEEPER,
Sorry for your loss. Your father-in-law sounded liked a wonderful person and lived life to the fullest.
I hope I'm pulling trees out of the ground up to the end.
Prayers to you and your wife
