Six months post surgical....<0.03!

Just had the six month post surgical PSA and the results were great-0.03! Also had a consult with Dr. Lam in Marina Del Rey. He spent at least an hour establishing our post surgical baseline and explain what options are out there IF and WHEN the beast rears it's ugly head. A sense of relief...until the next PSA! Phew...

I am confused. Was Hubby's Psa .03 or <.03? Both are shown in your post.
There is somewhat of a difference. You have a great doctor on your side in this on going battle that does
require paying attention on a regular basis. I am eight years out of surgery, T3a, 3+4 - have had blood work every 3 months. Started SRT when PSA hit .06. Finished SRT 4 months ago.
Be diligent in keeping up with testing. Glad Hubby is dry.

Teacherlady, this sounds great. Is there a "<" in front of the 0.03? If there is, he's a member of the zero club!

Congrats, I trust your satisfaction with the results, whether with or without the "<" , seems from Dr Kwons comments, and from what I've heard of him, that would make me feel,good as well.

Dang it! I always forget the <! The PSA was LESS THAN 0.03 or as Dr Lam put it...less than three cents worth! Undetectable is my favorite word! :)

An undetectable <.03 (less than .03) is something to be grateful for. We celebrate with you for the good news and the good comments from Dr. Kwons. Be diligent in keeping on track with follow-up PSA readings.
