Just wonder how many people after Radiation treatment had a PSA up before it went down.....Finished treatment and a blood test due in three months, have read that sometimes it is higher after, then goes down.....

It does take a while for the PSA to settle down after radiation, don't panic if it is higher. As the cancer cells die, they give off some PSA. Good luck with your first post treatment PSA and may they continue to go down.

Doesn't happen to everyone, but some do experience that.

I'm approaching my 6 month post procedure PSA test. My 3 month PSA was lower than pre-treatement, but not by much. My PCP and Urologist showed obvious concern. The Radiation Oncologist's office was not as concerned.
Hoping for a good drop with the upcoming test.
