November is National Novel Writing Month and I intend to use that opportunity to write yet another poorly selling novel (I have 4 so far). It is a formidable task to finish a 50,000 word-minimum novel in 30 days, so it will take most of my attention. Because of that, I have to pull back from HW. I will be available via email if anyone wants to communicate, but I may be slow in responding.

It would certainly be more sporting if they chose a month in which you had 31 days to finish a novel, but perhaps the tighter deadline is more motivating. Enjoy exercising the other hemisphere of your brain!

I decided against doing NaNoWiMo this year. I am still editing my prostate cancer poetry book. Who knows, I might publish a poorly selling poetry book in the spring.

If I remember, best selling authors tend to write 11 months of the year. Do you have the time frame upside down? Just sayin'.

Allen, I remember last year in early Nvember, when I was diagnosed and showed up here after a long hiatus, I saw a post about you taking a month off to write. So I guess this is a regular thing. Good luck, maybe 5th times a charm and you write a best seller.

As Trump would advise, "success requires two components, confidence and talent." You've obviously got the talent. Shine the other shoe and this book will be HUUUGE! We'll miss your sage input.
