It will be a welcome day when cut and dry treatment decision making becomes possible for early diagnosed, low-grade prostate cancer.

One of the biggest flaws in our healthcare system is the inconsistencies in treatments from region to region and unfortunately we're never aware of this until we're exposed it. I was fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time and back then, when initially DXed, I had nowhere else to go for advice but here. And to this very day, I still count my blessings for finding this place!

Your so right Fox....I know that the treatment Im getting is consistent with most on this site. I began my Eligard 10 days ago as well as Cosadex. May I ask you a question. As I have not had ANY side effects, is it too early yet or is this stuff working?

Hmmm....it's been awhile now and I had to go check diary notes, but I'm pretty sure the hot flashes had started for me by then, but nothing too drastic and apparently everyone reacts differently to HT. Did you get your T reading before you started?

Thanks..no I have not had a T reading yet. I am going to AZ for 45 days and will start my radiation simulation early Jan/16

The reason I asked, was I wished I had done mine before I started my HT so as I'd know what my normal level was and something to compare to for post HT.
