Fairwind, DH was dreading ADT as much and probably more than anyone could, and was so relieved when the RO said no need, that he didn't question it.
A year ago when DH met with the UroOnc after his biopsy results, she said he would probably be on ADT for the rest of his life. So at every doctors appointment as his psa kept rising after surgery I expected to be told he was going to start it, but they never did. Very confusing to me
This may be a silly question, but what is defined as an advanced case. Is DH advanced, or will that be if he has a recurrence?
Hi Beth, it drives me crazy. He thinks I'm wrong about everything though, because I told him he'd need ADT and radiation soon after surgery since his psa kept rising. and the uro onc kept saying wait til the next test each time. So it was almost 7 months before SRT was started. Well, I'm so happy it seems to have worked , and since he didn't regain continence til 5 months, maybe its for the best that he waited.
I think I will ask him to get one at his annual physical with his GP.
Well, I think I"ll put all this out of mind for now.
