I spoke with mom last night. She told me it was time to let dad go. I told her I agree and she said " You Do?" It was as if she expected me to argue with her. I said yes mom. We had to try chemo because it f we hadn't we would have regretted it but it didn't work. It's selfish to continue a losing battle. Dad is the only one who pays the price. I believe she is finding peace.

Lee and I have all your family in our prayers. Your father developed a wonderful man in you and he will always be with you. It is time for him to be at peace.

Prayers for your mom and dad. Sometimes when I think of the future for my sons, I hope that they have good companions through their life, because it is so often not the case, and people are alone and die alone. Your dad is a lucky one to have you so close to him, celebrating his life and mourning his approaching end.

Thank you to all of you in my extended family. Home hospice is coming on Saturday to take over care. Thanksgiving will not be very festive this year but it is what it is. Todd

Todd, Mamma Pat and I are praying for peace for your Dad, and healing for your family.

I know it is difficult and you will miss him for a long time.

Good that you've got the hospice team coming in. They were a great help and comfort to me and my family during my mother's last days.

It's never easy do this, but hospice did ease the burden a little.

A relative just passed away. He lay down in his recliner for a nap and never awoke. We can only wish such a dignified and peaceful end to all those we love. My thoughts and prayers go with you and your mom.

My condolences on your loss. Maybe, just maybe, in heaven right now the saints who succumbed to the cancer-beast are introducing themselves to one another. And perhaps our fathers are among them. Lifting up prayers for you, your father and your family.
