My comprehensive analysis of the debate.....
Rudolf, an unlikely leader, was suddenly thrust into the lead. Rudolph has risen from obscurity due to his relationship with a well known Alaskan billionaire toy maker. Rudolph is only the second Alaskan to rise to prominence in the national political arena. The recent atmospheric conditions (brought on by the unabated use of fossil fuels) seemed to cloud everyone's initial ability to see Rudolf's itinerary. He was all over the map- Paris, the Middle East, Ukraine, Russia, San Bernardino- it seems as though he was everywhere in just one evening. He clarified his liberal plan to give away everything by the 25th of this month. He assured the assembled that it was possible because of his ability to organize, package and load the transport vehicle systematically to accomplish this unrealistic task. When queried why such a monumental endeavor, he responded "It was for the children". Earl Grey, one of the conservative moderators challenged him by saying that if he were elected to lead, all we would see would be red. At that point the majority of the low information electorate resonated with what they were hearing and began dancing with glee. It was truly an unscripted evening.
We will just have to wait and see how it effects history.

What's the betting pool on when this thread gets locked?

My bet is this thread will NOT get looked.
If it does, then someone (either a moderator or, more likely, some poster) will need a brain transplant.
If so, then I would recommend surgery, although I am sure there will be those who will chime in, in knee-jerk fashion, asking if the transplant could be done via radiation.

Mel, as you know, surgery will always be considered the BEST option, no matter what the circumstance. So your recommendation is simply stating the obvious.

Breaking News- Debate Follow-up

Rudolph's Alaskan billionaire toy maker is compiling a list. Names on the list will be vetted into two categories- those who are "naughty" and those who are "nice". Those in the "nice" category will participate freely in the re-distribution delivery (gifts) scheduled for the 25th. Those in the "naughty" category will be relegated to the "No Fly" classification as it pertains to the re-distribution delivery (gifts) on the 25th. The metric for inclusion on a particular list will be determined by data collected from social media and blog postings. The toy maker's spokesman has assured us of the list's accuracy and confirmed that it will be checked twice.

You, Mel and the rest are killing me. Literally! I wish I could get hold of that list to see if I made it to "nice" this time. I've been trying to do better.
