Getting mine in about 3 weeks.

Nerve-wracking time coming up in about 2 weeks!

1 year post op PSA end of next week, blood draw Wednesday, Dr appointment Friday. UGH

My next PSA test is in May. Is it too early to start stressing about it?

Three days to my visit for 1 year blood draw, 4-5 days till results.. Starting to get wound up. Don't know why it makes me feel better to post it here. But it does.

I'm more uptight than usual this time, 1 year is big, at least mentally

Each test is HUGE. My excuse is: first test after again stopping HT. So...HUGE.

The last one was the last one before HOPING to stop HT. So...HUGE.

Good luck to all of you..... I have mine 2/18... 7 years less than .1.. last one listed as .1 (???) in November 2016....

Yes, I suppose you are right Mel.
And compared to what a rise might mean to some others, my a rise for me by comparison might not yet seem like a big deal. And yet each test, the anxiety seems to be there, and even rise.

If you recall, my last test gave me a scare so math at might have something to do with it. But I guess a PSA test, is a PSA test, no matter what the circumstance. I recall, now that I think about it, getting VERY anxious, even on my pre diagnosis PSA tests

Yup, same old Jets. But not really. Didn't expect 10 wins this season. And Give the Bills credit, they came to play.

Tomorrow, 6 month at Sloan Kettering. Usually can access results thru patient portal within a few hours. Last July I got the score in one hour. Those 6 months went by fast. Best wishes to all.

Went in last week to get my monthly Luron and blood work. There were no orders for the labs so I ended up not getting poked. Long story short is that I am on a monthly schedule and they couldn't figure that out when I was there. So I still went through the pre-anxiety of getting worked up and getting poked but they didn't draw any blood. So I ended up getting frustrated that I don't have a monthly # to compare my 35 other monthly #'s to instead.

I remember stopping after 28 months on. Yea it was nerve racking for a while. We tested the next year every 3 months the every year since. It's hard for me to believe that it's been over 6 years ago that I stopped. Of course that first year off was more like a year on with the low T levels.

Geez it's hard for me to believe that it's been over 9 years since diagnosis. I guess I've been pretty lucky so far.

Good luck hitting the brakes. And I hope you catch a nice break like I have.

So had 6 month PSA today, and was able to login to the results in one hour 30 minutes later. Quick feedback is nicer when results are good, which these were not. Score .26, up from .11 in June. Had surgery in 09, SRT in '12. Meet with my oncologist on Friday at MSK to discuss. Good news in past six months: bone scan and cat negative. Also had an A+ on colonoscopy and an endoscopy. My only problem seems to be prostate cancer. Best wishes to all.

Got my PSA back today. It is 3.36, down from 3.71 last month. I guess we can say the disease is stable. Zytiga is still helping me after 16 months.

Oh yeah, I was mostly writing about liposarcoma, so I didn't post my result after it arrived. Undetectable at 2 years. My oncologist kind of laughed about me wanting to know it. She said it's far from my biggest risk right now and she wouldn't even recommend treatment for now if it did recur. But, I still gotta know.

Mel, I could have sworn that I responded to this earlier but my response is not here. So.....yes it's clap. For some reason, sometimes when I use the IPad IOS emoticons they don't translate correctly on here.

On another VERY HAPPY NOTE, MY Drs PA called today and informed me that I am, one year after surgery, a 0.00!!! So relieved, and blessed.
I'm seeing him tomorrow, hoping really hard that he will move me from 3 month testing to 6 month testing.

In any case, now I can go back to fretting over my heart issues. However, tonite, I celebrated with. Tall glass of Belvedere with a splash of Cranberry Juice, which I washed down with a 16 ounce New York Strip Steak, and Garlic Mashed Potatoes. A steak never tastedd so sweet.

Also, I see the cause of your heart problems.
You are supposed to wash the steak down with the liquid. Not the reverse!

Jan test is >.1 T=27. See the the Dr today. Happy news for the drop but, nervous to see the Dr today.

My doctor just replied to an email and I am off to get a uric acid blood test this morning.

Seems, she thinks the pain in my left foot might be gout.
