I think that SIZE DOES MATTER as was said before by HALBERT. If you truly have an enlarged Prostate - over 40 CC that limits the type of RX (seeds). My prostate is 118cc and I am on Finesteride to reduce the size prior to treatment. But I think you can have HDRT but not LDRT....Some one else please confirm? Thanks Dave
Dave, have you looked into Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE)? It is an outpatient procedure performed by an interventional radiologist. It reduces the prostate size by 85 percent. Two hospitals near me offer it, and I am now hearing of radiology practices across the country that are learning and offering ti.
