Hello...peeking my face around the door.
I've been a lurker for sometime and decided it was time to step into the room.
I don't know if I'm in the correct thread or not but I have a question I would like to ask.
My husband was diagnosed May 2015. PSA 8, G8, started HT with 8 weeks of EBRT. Finishing that his PSA was 4.6. Radiation Oncologist said he would take anything 5 or less, so of course we were elated. My husband has 2 years of Lupron with his 2nd PSA at the end of this month (Feb).
((just a second, giving the hunt 'n peck fingers a break :))
My question is: should I have been concerned with the level of carcinogen if the RO was happy with anything 5 or less?
Thank you in advance for your patience if I'm out of cue and for any help you can provide.
As an aside, my husband does not want to talk about
any of this. He hasn't from the beginning and still does not. For me, I feel like I'm caught in a time tunnel, going nowhere. I don't feel that we asked enough questions I sure as heck know that I am very under-informed.
Again, thx.
