Yep today's the day it's hard to believe that 10 years ago today I was diagnosed with prostate cancer not just any prostate cancer but stage for widespread metastatic prostate cancer. I wrote a blog post today. Happy reading brothers

Wow, congratulations, with your initial numbers and dx, hard not to think of it being a near miracle you are here 10 years later telling us. I had forgotten you were dx in 2006, thought it was 2008 like me, as we came aboard here almost at the same time.

Hope you come back at year 20 to tell the story.

Great milestone post, once more and here's to another 20!
We dont have the boat or snowmobile..yet, but maybe one day. I played men's Senior Baseball(hardball) tourney last week,against Doctors recommendation, but what the heck I enjoy it to the max, even though I got bruises now and was sore for two days. One day soon I will attempt to zip line. And I know what you mean about "Chick flicks"/ & the Hallmark movies on TV,- the Notebook is also in my top 3!!

My friend had an initial PSA of 1720, now 660 asked how long Zytiga will work for him. I just gave him a reference to you and told him to keep the Faith, the ol PSA will plummet on his June 10th test.

I always read your blog post, and this one was my favorite to date. I have to admit that I've hijacked some of your Toddisms. We are still finding ways to "live large" even though Gary has become very small and his endurance is minimal.
If you are doing a GFMPH boating expidition out our way during your empty nest free time, and living large, look us up.

Todd, in many ways you really are now at the "jumping" stage of your life. You're "jumping," so well, from one blog to the next, from one project to the next, even from one forum post to the next, and any past fears that there may have been of ever making some of those jumps simply aren't there any more.

This beast is a funny thing in a way. While it threatens to take control of us, and run our lives, sometimes just the opposite occurs. It is we who take control, and run our own lives, becoming the captains of our own fates. We wind up "jumping" where we darn well please.

You're an excellent example of how that can happen, Todd, and a model for so many on how to do it.

Todd...since you bring up days of youth and promise...I will take a page from that time and double dog dare you to jump into retirement...like now. You know the promise...believe it...and sense every truth embedded in this post...

Congratulations on making it 10 years!! You are a fighter and example to us all!

As you've said many times, without God leading us on our journey, not sure where we'd be!


Oct. 1st, I'll celebrate my fourth year on ADT2 (Lupron and Casodex)! I was given 4-5 years at best! For this, I thank God!

Milestone, milestone ...

Ten years ... an entire decade ... a tenth of a century ... 520 weeks ... 120 months ... 3,650 days ... plus a couple of "Leap Year" days thrown in, as a bonus !

That's a lot of sunrises, Todd ... a lot of sunsets !

Keep livin' large ... keep livin' out loud ...

You're the captain of your ship ... you've got others rowing right behind you, following in your wake ...

Keep rowing your ship, Captain Todd ... don't drop anchor, just keep ROWING !
