Can a man be too young for active surveillance?I know a man with a pacemaker who had an mpMRI. Apparently, there is a way of shielding it. I have no idea how safe that is or how it's done. It sounds like the kind of thing an experienced radiologist would decide in consultation with your cardiologist.
There are other alternatives that don't involve magnets: CDUS-targeting and transperineal template-mapping biopsy. Imaging can never
completely substitute for biopsies.
