Short Term ADT and recovery time

I was on Casodex and Lupron for 4 months which just ended. Side effects included loss of libido, limp biscuit tongue, joint pain and frequent hot flashes especially at night. For those of you who have received short term ADT therapy, how long after stopping the drugs before you found some symptom relief? I know everyone responds differently and there are many variables such as age, pre-treatment T level etc. Just looking for a ball park figure here. Thanks for your enlightened response. Love this site.

My first time on lupron was six months. I recovered quickly, like in a couple months. But my PSA also recovered quickly unfortunately so I had to undergo more RT and ADT3 which I'll be off on Nov 1st . Hopefully forever but I doubt it. But my PCA is more severe than yours. The longer you're on it the longer the recovery I believe. But I've found that exercise in addition to other meds shown in my signature help minimize the Side Effects. You should feel better pretty quickly.

ronjt-- had 6 mo. shot 9 1/2 mo after shot ended. still have hot flash but getting much lighter and less frequent. t = 87 . 2 mo. to blood draw. try to let you know more then NEPOL

I had a 4 month shot in February 2015

My testosterone was in the high 600's

Within a month is had dropped to single digits

I did not start feeling really well until December 2015 when my T level hit 280.

Being on Lupron really sucked, but , it worked so, I dealt with it.
