Not what I wanted

I haven't been feeling well the last week and went into see the doctor today. She's ordered an impressive set of followup tests - EKG, treadmill test, visit with ENT surgeon, blood tests (including testosterone), and I even got a flu shot.

Not sure what's going on but I've been feeling general bad lately. Lightheaded, sweating with just a little exercise, seemingly terminal ED, and generally depressed.

Doc thinks it could be anything from low T to a heart problem, so she decided to exercise her referral skills and so far I think I get to visit every floor in the hospital.

sigh, well that's my week, making the rounds.

Hopefully they will find the culprit and the cure will be quick and painless.

I know it's impossible not to worry, but there are all those studies that show, often convincingly, that something like 90 % or so of the things we worry about never happen.

So hang in there, there's a pretty good chance this thing will just blow over, and you'll feel great again in no time.

You are always here and supporting the masses. I honestly don't know how you do all you do! Sorry to hear that you not feeling good. I will be keeping you in thought and prayer for good test results and better days.

Hmmmm....I sweat with exertion every day. Will probably keep doing that too.

I like a decent Pax load of high grade organic cannabis for those 'blahs' and to keep depression at bay.

Cancer qualifies a patient for a Green Card here in Michigan. Works for me, though as usual, your mileage may differ.

well the stress test showed that my cardiovascular system is just fine, but that I am out of shape.

So nothing there to say what's wrong, sigh.

Tomorrow we'll see about my nose.

Zzarth - no chest pain, just some light headiness and frequent headaches plus generally not feeling well. I do have some nasal polyps that the ENT guy is going to check tomorrow. My PCP, didn't think it was heart, but it could have been so we did the test.

Tomorrow I'll get some blood work and the nose checked out.

Talked to the ENT doc and he stuck a camera up my nose. Not fun, but better that other places they've stuck cameras in me. Apparently I have enlarged turbinates and he's recommending an in office procedure to reduce them. They stick and RF probe up there and do a little work that reduces them. It's not a strong recommendation from him, but I've tried most of the other treatments for the problem and they aren't working so it's either put up with it or try this.

Got my blood work done, hope to get my T result tonight.

The way things are going, I'll bet it will be normal and I'll looking more like the hypochondriac.

Well, it's been a strange couple of weeks.

Finished all the testing and here's what they've come up with:

I have enlarged turbinates and that's about it. All the blood work came back normal.

My PCP wasn't all that enthusiastic about sending me over for the enlarged turbinates reduction procedure and has put me on some meds that we hope will shrink the things. One is a allergy med and another is a asthma med plus a nasal spray.

Been doing those for a week and feel a little better. Suppose to do it for the whole month and then re-evaluate.

It sounds like they have a plan. Let's hope it does the job.
