Looking for Advice for Urologist on Long Island

Alex, I'm sorry that you're in this situation. I can only offer my past experience. After my diagnosis, my wife and I sought another uro's advice in a different city. Although they had similar stats, when my wife and I came to decision time, we both agreed on the latter candidate. My wife based her decision on the uro's temperament and I remember the statement that the uro made that probably helped make my decision. "My job is to cure you!" Both are excellent uros. In all fairness, upon investigating, we heard both positive and negative on both. Now, five years later this month with minimal side affects, I feel we made the right decision. I'd like to think if we had chosen the alternative, I would be sharing the same feelings. As you embark on this journey, I think you will learn that you will have many shoulders to lean on, many ears to bend and many hearts that will share their experiences as we travel this road together. Sorry I couldn't offer more advice.

Well if you can travel to Manhattan,I just had surgery with Dr. Tewari. Can't get much better.
