2 years and 2 months since the last hit of Eligard. Testosterone is around 200, PSA went up from 0.03 to 0.08 in 3 months (that's 88% per month increase) so the doc put me back on 30 day blood tests. The last one a couple of weeks back was 0.09, only a 12% increase over about
6 weeks this time.
Doc asked what I had done different, I told him that I had started taking 475 mg powdered Neem leaf extract 3 times a day (the recommended dosage) about
3 weeks before the last blood test. I did this due to my encountering study results from a rodent study of
nimbolide extract on prostate cancer on Science Daily here: https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2016/09/160929082202.htm
So instead of getting the scans again and restarting first round Pituitary Deprivation Therapy chemo, I got to kick the can down the road for 2 more months. Next blood test will be at the end of January. If the rate of increase remains low I will get to kick the can down the road even further.
Rest assured that if the PSA rate of increase remains low I will broadcast the results loudly here as well.
