Not limited to advanced, but very helpful for info and active patient treatment histories. Helped me at the time of diagnosis, and I find them fascinating to follow as the years go by.

One caution, Annie. I fully endorse the New Prostate Cancer InfoLink, but if you are like me, you will not only read the current postings but also the historical archives. The thing to watch there is that the medical science surrounding prostate cancer has changed and grown immensely over the past several years, and some of the earlier studies and articles posted have either been updated, amplified or disproven.

That site is one of the best I've seen for information, but just be sure that if you are reading an older article, search for newer articles on the same topic to ensure that you have the complete and up to date story.

Tall Allen, whose posts here are among the most helpful, also writes/contributes to the InfoLink.

Within the website, the area of greatest interest for you will likely be the section entitled SURVIVOR's STORIES. You can click into that segment of the website and you will find hundreds of narrative stories from hundreds of different fellows.

There are a wide variety of individual stories on that website, with a focus on first-hand TREATMENT history and TREATMENT experiences.

The above-listed website shows individual stories from every corner of the United States, but the website also has a global aspect, with individual treatment experiences from fellows all around the globe, as well.

It's helpful to check on the narrative stories shared by others who might have similar characteristics that match your own case, in terms of initial PSA at the time of diagnosis, current PSA following a certain course of treatment, age at diagnosis, current age, year of initial diagnosis, past and current treatments and medications, or a shared geographical location.

The focus on the www.yananow.org website is definitely on narrative stories, shared from a first-hand point-of-view.
