Why not, I like it just fine. I have been a heavy consumer of black tea for a lifetime, might as well make that green tea. Couple of interesting RCTs, particularly interesting for pre-prostate cancer, although seemed to also help with those diagnosed:

I know, I have those ancestors/relatives in England also, according to geneology sites. And they would probably be highly offended if I went all oriental on them. But I don't know them, so I won't worry about them.

I like black tea better than green, but have been trying to drink more of the green stuff. I got an assist when my wife gave me a new tea kettle for Christmas. It has different temperature settings, including one for 175 degrees, which is the perfect temperature for brewing green tea. It really tastes better brewed with 175 degree water.

I read somewhere it was also more effective brewed at a lower temp. I had a couple of cups of Green today, but I have trouble remembering to brew some up due to my lifetime habit of drinking the black stuff. But it might be worth changing. Maybe.

Japan exports only 2% of its green tea, keeping the rest for Japanese consumers. Much of the commodity green tea tastes awful. Get the good stuff, which costs more but significantly less than a cup of basic Starbucks coffee. Some reputable online dealers sell samplers, which give you an idea of the different green tea flavor profiles from Sencha, Gyokuro, Matcha, Hojicha, and Genmaicha. For what it's worth, I get mine from Sugimoto USA.

Hey Robert, if you don't mind me asking, did we talk on the phone some months back? I see you were scheduled to have an RP with Dr. Smith at Vandy back in 11/16, but you cancelled. I also was wondering why you were going for the RP since it looks like your PSA had not gone up one bit over almost 2 years. Which I suppose you were on AS because you "only" had low volume G6. I would also have cancelled with your numbers, but that's just me, personal opinion and all. I wish I could have made such a choice.

hey BllyBob, no it wasn't me you spoke with. Smith did my biopsy and recommended the RP. He did not recommend AS.
